Mental Health Support: Useful Information

ALL AGES: 


For those seeking mental health support, the Samaritans offer a 24/7 service

If you're dealing with anxiety or depression, Saneline is available from 6-11pm

CALM provides support from 5-12pm, reachable at Tel: 0800 585858. 

For immediate assistance, SHOUT offers a 24/7 text-based service at 85258.


UP TO 35 YRS: 


If you're navigating trauma or need counselling, Papyrus Hopeline UK operates Monday to Friday from 10am to 10pm, and on weekends from 2pm to 10pm.

FOR OVER 55 YRS: 


The Silverline provides a 24/7 service for older adults, offering support 

Tel: 0800 4708090, which can be crucial for those dealing with bereavement or other life transitions.


UP TO 18 YRS: 


Childline is a vital resource for young people, providing support 24/7  

Tel: 0800 11 11, ensuring that children have access to therapy and mental health resources.


MEN ONLY: 


The calmzone is dedicated to men's mental health, offering support from 5pm to 12pm

TEL 0800 585858 and through a webchat service.


If you have concerns about your health or psychological well-being, please contact your GP surgery or the out-of-hours number for assistance, or call 111 for medical advice. If you or someone you know is struggling with severe self-injury or suicidal thoughts, it is crucial to safely reach your local hospitals accident and emergency department for immediate support or to request a mental health assessment.
